Ceramic coating is stronger and lasts much longer than a traditional wax when maintained properly. A wax sits on top of your paint and wears away with each wash, allowing contaminants to embed themselves into your paint if you're not waxing your vehicle as often as every 2-3 months. Ceramic coating is semi-permanent as it actually binds to your paint, creating a protective layer that will shield your paint from staining from bird droppings, bug acid, tree sap and light water spots. It even offers great protection from UV damage which could cause oxidation and destroy your clear coat over time.
